Hand & Microsurgery

Hand and microsurgery focus on the treatment of simple and complex conditions affecting the hand and wrist. This may involve intricate surgical procedures that often require the use of a microscope and micro instruments to repair small structures such as nerves and blood vessels in the thumb and fingers. Other hand conditions and injuries that require repair of ligaments, tendons and bones are also treated by a hand surgeon. A hand surgeon works closely with occupational therapists to rehabilitate the patients for the best possible outcome.

  • Trauma: Fractures, dislocations, and lacerations
  • Reconstructive Surgery: Repairing injuries or deformities from trauma or diseases
