Endoscopy Services
Gastroscopy
A procedure to examine the upper digestive tract using a flexible tube with a camera (endoscope) to identify issues like ulcers or inflammation.
Colonoscopy
A diagnostic test that allows the doctor to view the inside of the colon and rectum to detect abnormalities like polyps or colorectal cancer.
ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
Combines endoscopy and X-rays to treat problems in the bile ducts, pancreas, and gallbladder.
Sclerotherapy
A procedure to treat bleeding varices (enlarged veins) in the oesophagus by injecting a solution to close them.
Haemorrhoid Banding
A minimally invasive treatment where rubber bands are placed around haemorrhoids to cut off their blood supply, causing them to shrink.
Oesophageal Dilation
A treatment to stretch or widen the oesophagus when it becomes too narrow, often due to scarring or disease.
PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
A procedure to place a feeding tube through the abdominal wall into the stomach for patients who cannot eat normally.
Polypectomy
The removal of polyps (small growths) from the colon or other parts of the digestive tract during a colonoscopy or other endoscopic procedure.
Respiratory Services
Bronchoscopy
A procedure to look inside the airways and lungs using a thin tube called a bronchoscope, often used to detect infections, blockages, or tumours.
